28/03/2011 Agencia Europea de Medicamentos cierra proyecto PIM La Agencia Europea de Medicamentos (EMEA) anunció el cierre del proyecto PIM en la actualidad. El PIM, o la gestión de información del producto, el proyecto se estableció para aumentar la eficiencia de la gestión y el intercambio de información sobre el producto (resumen de características del producto, etiquetado y el prospecto) a través de la estructuración de la información y su intercambio por medios electrónicos. La EMA y sus socios han demostrado un compromiso importante para el proyecto PIM a través de los años, sin embargo, la EMA está llevando a cabo una revisión de su estrategia de negocio y los requisitos del sistema en el contexto de la nueva legislación y una revisión presupuestaria y como consecuencia ha decidido detener el proyecto PIM. La EMA mantiene su compromiso con el concepto de información sobre el producto estructurado y un intercambio eficaz de información, y volverá a la cuestión una vez que el proceso de revisión se ha completado. ----------------------------- 28/03/2011 European Medicines Agency closes PIM project The European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced the closure of the PIM project today. The PIM, or the Product Information Management, project was established to increase the efficiency of the management and exchange of product information (summary of product characteristics, package leaflet and labelling) through the structuring of the information and its exchange by electronic means. The EMA and its partners have demonstrated significant commitment to the PIM project over the years, however the EMA is currently undertaking a review of its business strategy and IT system requirements in the context of new legislation and a budgetary review and as a result has decided to halt the PIM project. The EMA remains committed to the concept of structured product information and the efficient exchange of information, and will return to the issue once the review process has been completed.
